The Focus of Phase Three
Here is our overview of the third phase of the curriculum, Partnership, designed for ages 8 and 9.
During this stage of child development we’re focused on friendship, responsibility, and practicality. There is an emphasis on realistic applications and of course partnership with others.
With the format accommodating developmental and psychological variance, the below courses bring this vision into being.
Phase Three Coursework
The first year of Partnership is spent improving reading, writing, drawing, mathematical computation, music composition, and research and observation skills. These skills are built in tandem with the studies of identified partners/mentors who are older, experienced experts in the topics the child is interested in. These mentor partners will be carefully selected by the child and parent together. If you’re having trouble finding a mentor, contact us and we can help connect you with excellent opportunities when they are available.
The second year is spent partnering with someone their own age this time, a friend or a sibling, and resolving problems together by doing their own in-depth research in tandem. Together they will work on creative projects that will become the first activities on their resumes, and learn to collaborate.
